Thrifty Chic is featuring Deena to showcase her wonderful choices in clothing representing different styles and selections. A lot of her choices come from Forever 21, which is a great store to shop at when on a budget. Her sense of style really impressed me because it was not pricey, and very affordable. Very beautiful young lady that is very classy and has an elegant look to her wardrobe. Check out prices and locations of where to find clothing, located beneath each picture. Haul of the Weekend

L to R: Clarisonic Daily Clarifying Cleanser, Sephora Concealer, Satsuma Body Butter, TANtalizer Bronzer, POREfessional (benefit)

Hello everyone 🙂 I recently just bought the Mia 2 Clarisonic System (Mia 2 Clarisonic System Review ), and I love it, but needed a new type of cleanser for my skin-type. I also love the Sephora brand of their concealer. It conceals very well, and lasts a very long time. The body butter is from the Body Shop line, but is sold at Sephora. This smells amazing, and I got it at a great price. POREfessional is a balm that minimizes the appearance of pores, and is from the Benefit line of products. It is oil-free, translucent, and silky. You can wear it over your make-up or under it. I had a sample of this product when I purchased my Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Foundation, and I loved how it made my skin feel, and how my make-up looked. It is like a primer for me. Finally, the LORAC Tantalizer body bronzer. This was a free item for me. If you are a Sephora Beauty Insider (free to join), you get free items once you reach 100 or over. You can even get a free item on your birthday as well. Once you get up to 500 points you can get more than 1 item of free stuff. I had close to 300 points, so I used up 100 points today just to try this bronzer.

Mia 2 Clarisonic Daily Cleanser: $27.00

Sephora Concealer: $16.00

Body Butter (Body Shop): Sephora-$3.00

POREfessional Pore Minimizer: $30.00

TANtalizer: Free Item because I am a Beauty Insider

Old Navy Haul

I notice bows everywhere I go. Bow hair styles, Bow earrings, Bows on collared shirts, Bow hair clips, BOWS BOWS BOWS!!!! 🙂 These Items are from Old Navy, and were from the clearance section. I couldn’t say no, because not only did I save money, I thought they were adorable. I got 3 pairs of earrings set at the top left corner, pearl bracelets all attached with a bow, a necklace at the top right that has a ribbon that allows you to tie it in a bow to wear, and finally the cutest thing I seen today, the bow earrings with a small postcard that says I Love You.

Bow Jewelry: All these Items were $1.99/each.

Harem Pants

Harem Pants With Ruffled Navy Blue Top, Waist Belt, And Platform Heels

These pants are originally worn by people of India, and is also well known in Middle Eastern countries worn by both men and women. Although these pants have become more modern today and fashionable, Harem pants are seen in many clothing stores. This can be worn with heels or flats. I chose to wear heels to make my legs a bit longer, because wearing heels always adds some height and length to your legs, and best shows your figure when wearing these pants. I tucked in my shirt and wore a belt at my waist. The shirt I wore is not tight and not loose, and by wearing a fitted top is best when wearing harem. These pants came back in 2009/2010 and is still in style today. I believe that when something like this comes in style, it won’t fade away and will always be one of those items that stay in stores, because I ALWAYS see them on display.

Harem Pants: Discovery $9.99

Platforms: Discovery $9.99

Top:  Can be found at Discovery, but also at Body Central, Wet Seal, New York & Co., Express, etc.

A Thrifty Outfit and A Priceless Smile

Purple Elbow Length Cardigan With Elastic High Waist Flare Pants

If you’ve scrolled through my categories, you probably noticed I wear a lot of cardigans. This is the best way to add to your wardrobe. Having cardigans works well in all seasons in my opinion. I wore them a lot in the summer on the cooler days. I could of just worn all black, but I didn’t want to seem so blah. I love purple, and having this part of my outfit really was comfortable. This cardigan buttons at the mid-section to down. I first wore it unbuttoned then I buttoned it just to see how it looks. I wore heels with this outfit since I was at work. I can’t wait until fall so I can dress like this often when I am around the office and teaching.

Cardigan: Discovery $5.99

High Waist Pants: Discovery $6.99

Black T-Shirt: Discovery-Clearance $2.99

Lilac Earrings: Forever 21 $2.80

Smile: Priceless 🙂
